Since 1882, New Life Church has preached the Word of God.

New Life Church, also known as First Baptist Church of Bayonne, has been teaching the Word of God since 1882. Our primary focus is the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. His Atoning Death, Burial, and resurrection for the sin of the world remains the greatest event in human history; whereby, the Love of God is clearly seen through the Son of God and His coming to seek and to save that which was lost (that’s all of us, folks).

However, this Salvation is by God’s Grace and is appropriated by Faith. It begins with the Conviction of sin by God, the Holy Spirit, leading to godly sorrow of heart, followed by repentance and confession to God and received by believing that Jesus is Savior. As it is stated in Romans 10:9-10: If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture says, Whosoever believes on him shall not be ashamed.
